About this artwork
The work "Ribona Patchwork" is a fantastical deconstruction of the Macerata region: a canvas where oil paint becomes material, becoming a bridge between the earth and the dream. The landscape ignores traditional perspective to interpret the hills as pieces of a rural mosaic. In this pattern, the rows of vines are stitched together in pure color, and the fields fit together like a handmade blanket, where each fragment tells the story of its exposure…

Creating a work about wine may seem simple, but the line between emotion and the obvious is thin. Therefore, Ribona wine is the soul of the painting: it comes from vineyards and hills ablaze with color, intertwined like stories born in the earth before they even reach the glass. This is my vision. The work doesn't portray a physical place, but a sense of belonging; it's the story of a land where the horizon doesn't end where the eye stops, but continues to celebrate the profound identity of the Marche region.
