About this artwork
With RECOLECTA, I wanted to convey the profound connection between women and the land they cultivate. This work reflects the dedication, patience, and effort that planting demands, as well as the harmony with the cycles of nature. More than simply depicting the act of harvesting rice, I seek to convey respect for the simple life and admiration for this exhausting and poorly paid work.
I am a self-taught artist with a passion for the Impressionist movement. I have been painting since I was a child, and eight years ago I decided to pursue it professionally. I work in two main areas: animals and landscapes.
She used textures, mixed media, and vibrant colors, with light as a central element. She painted animals to highlight their vitality and vulnerability, and landscapes to invite the viewer to return to the essential and appreciate nature with greater awareness.
My life experiences in different countries have influenced my way of seeing the world and my relationship with nature. I strive to create clear, honest, and vibrant works that immediately connect with the viewer.
