« 20.22 Word » is the right painting of the diptych « 20.22 ». This diptych, part of the series « Les Incarnées », explores the moment when meaning passes from inscription to presence. The two panels (« 20.22 Word » and « 20.22 Breath ») exist in deliberate tension: one rooted in the density of the word, the other opening into an image shaped by light and movement. The diptych becomes a quiet study of emergence.
In « 20.22 Word », the surface is… saturated with ochre tones and layered inscriptions. The writing is visible yet elusive, no longer meant to be read but to be felt.
This canvas holds the weight of what is spoken or written before it takes form, like a breath waiting to be released: a reservoir of meaning, dense and expectant.
