About this artwork
In this artwork, I've melded beeswax and pigments to capture the essence of vitality within nature's embrace. Impressionism guides my brush, each stroke a dance of color and light, symbolizing nature's enduring spirit. This piece is a celebration of growth and the interconnectedness of life, inviting a sense of wonder and tranquility into any space it graces.
« Don't fight against something, stand for something. I stand for freedom, peace, abundance and love. »
Marie-Danielle Leblanc is a prize winning Canadian artist with international exposure. With an eye towards environmentalism, Leblanc work with encaustic, an ancient technique using molten beeswax and pigments — the same process the Greeks and Egyptians used over 2,000 years ago. Some of their encaustic paintings, like the Fayum portraits, are still perfectly vibrant today. Her work continues this tradition, but with a contemporary vision. When you collect an encaustic painting, you’re not only acquiring art, you’re investing in something proven to last for millennia — timeless, natural, and beautiful.
