About this artwork
Here I wanted to convey a powerful image, dominated by a strong red, treated like a stained-glass window. The yellow touches bring light, the gold touch evokes the sacred, and the black lines recall the joints of a stained-glass window.
The overall effect is powerful and balanced, and can be combined with other paintings from my "The Squares" series.

Marie Ève Kia is a painter and graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, as well as a DPLG-certified architect. She has practiced drawing, painting, and music since childhood. She primarily uses oil and acrylic paints, exploring opacity, strength, and the resonant vibration of colors in an abstract style. Her meticulous and refined work offers harmony and serenity, imbued with spirituality. She conveys emotion, faith, and confidence, inviting the viewer to share a profound and sensitive inner experience.
