About this artwork
With this screen print, I attempted to unite the transience of life and the beauty of death. The artfully decorated skull radiates a quiet dignity, while the ripe pomegranates symbolize fertility, life, and freshness. We all need to make room (hopefully later than sooner) for new ideas and inspiration. This tension creates a powerful energy that brings contemplation and a mysterious, almost spiritual atmosphere to any space.
