About this artwork
In this oil painting, I capture the warm and soothing essence of a home nestled in the countryside. The earthy colors and rich textures embrace the viewer, evoking both tranquility and a gentle nostalgia. I seek to transport the viewer to a world where time seems suspended, inviting reflection and appreciation of the simple, rugged beauty of nature.
The artist depicts the approach to a cabin in the Provençal countryside, already overheated by the… sun. A schematic terrace leads us there. The cabin's privacy is protected.
