About this artwork
Through my work made in acrylic and oil, I seek to capture the ephemeral essence of the incessant dialogue between earth and sky. The style adopted mixes abstraction, expressionism and impressionism to evoke deep emotions and blurred transitions where reality merges with imagination. The bluish tones and intense contrasts invite introspective contemplation, offering in each look a new secret to discover. The flooding on the banks of the Loire fascinates… me! This immensity of water which meets the sky - or which the sky joins - just makes me want to take my brush to translate this calm and this abundance of water. The special light spoiled me. It was just an intense pleasure to blend into the blues!
