About this artwork
In this work I seek to capture the evanescent essence of light reflecting off water, a fusion of oils and acrylics that envelops the viewer in a semi-abstract world. Blue tones and orange shades overlap. My intention is to transmit inner peace, arousing deep and serene contemplation in those who welcome it into their space. Having recently arrived on the banks of the Loire, I never tire of looking at it, of admiring it! The contrasts between skies…
which can be dark and the purity of the blue corners of sky which settle or pass inspire me. The immensity of this body of water, especially during times of flooding, captivates me.
