About this artwork
Mirages 1 and Mirages 2 are part of a diptych. Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard. Abstract expressionism, lyrical by the mysterious and colorful atmosphere it gives off. Inspired by the imaginary reflections of a ghost town in the water at sunset.
The diptych is interesting because it allows to reinforce the aspect reflections by presenting two works in vertical format for the same landscape. Each work is finalized by a thin layer of varnish, framed… under glass, similar white frame ready to hang.
