About this artwork
These works are made in the last stage of the artist's life in Mallorca, where she lived for 10 years. They are works of search and pleasure for color and its tones inspired by the light of the island. Marietta Negueruela is an experienced artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and France. Her most recent works revolve around the landscape and are inspired by metaphysics, the Renaissance, and geometric forms. Color also plays a fundamental role in Negueruela's artistic practice. She primarily creates with watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
