About this artwork
Violet Absolute Balance is a unique contemporary abstract artwork by the artist Maria Ruisi, created in 2020 on premium museum-quality canvas measuring 50 × 50 cm. The work is mounted on a black American-style hardwood box frame approximately 5 cm deep, an elegant presentation widely used in contemporary art collections and high-end interiors. This structure creates a subtle visual relief that enhances the depth and presence of the composition. The… artwork arrives ready to hang.
The artwork also benefits from a 10-year guarantee, as stated on the certificate of authenticity. Beyond this guarantee, the artistic ambition is to use materials and techniques capable of lasting for generations, so that these creations can be preserved for a long time and potentially passed on to future generations.
Born in Riga in 1983, Maria Ruisi is an artist, researcher and artistic director of the Abstract Art Gallery, founded in 2010. Her practice is rooted in sculptural abstraction — a multi-stage process combining acrylic, resin, and metallic pigments in three-dimensional relief. Each work is born from rigorous research into material, depth, and spatial perception. Trained in fine arts and interior design, she has been developing a unique visual language for fifteen years: surfaces that breathe, forms that command silence. His works are integrated into contemporary residences, architectural spaces and private collections across Europe and the world. Every day, new works are born in his Riga studio.
