About this artwork
The painting is inspired by my city. Its tropical, iridescent light. Its lake and the port of Maracaibo. It plays with creating the vision of the majestic bridge that unites both shores of the largest estuary in South America. So it's a visual symphony of whites and cloud tones dancing alongside a city of "gargoyles and pirates," as a great poet once said.
