About this artwork
Time in the flow - the epitome of becoming and passing. Eternal change into everything and nothing, time abstracts into sections and we are right in the middle - also made up of the materials that make up the universe.
But it could also be about boats or apple pits or the pupae of a butterfly.
In the haptic, the topic is found through rust pigments. The browns and reds are corroded iron. For this work I mainly chose subtle and earthy colors as… a symbol for the naturalness of the world around us.
Or is all existence a miracle after all? Just like a magnificent butterfly frees itself from its inconspicuous cocoon or the small apple core lets a strong apple tree grow .....
