About this artwork
Without thinking I ended up living in the countryside, I found it very beautiful and romantic to be surrounded by nature, this led me to think about making my own garden to plant my vegetables, I saw it very easy and fast, now I go in to proceed to fix the soil to grow the seeds and it is here where I realize that farming is not easy, taking a hoe and moving the soil, enduring the rays of the sun on your back burning despite being protected, fertilizing… organically where the smells enter through every pore of your skin, it is where I feel and see how valuable is the farmer who grows for us to eat, so much that he has to give of himself to have a good production for the consumer, it was not until I lived this experience to see how valuable they are, that is why I call this work Blessed Hands and I kiss them because they have the art of feeding us without looking at who and without caring about the inclement weather.
Marisol Cardona Sánchez, painter, draftsman and sculptor, trained at the Fine Art Educational Institution. With a conceptual style, he uses earth and oil colors to bring his ideas and thoughts to life, trying not to go over too much with the brush, creating touches in different directions. His works are infused with intense emotions and social discourses, seeking to express the unspeakable with shapes and colors that touch the heart.
