About this artwork
This is a Colour study made in 2024 for Marit Geraldine's Solo show at the end of the year, at galleri Fineart in Oslo. As all of the works made in the past two years, they are more free than ever. The artists focus has been solely about closing the doors to the outside world and prohibit the echoes from our daily life, to enter the studio.

Marit Geraldine Bostad is a Norwegian abstract colourist whose work has been exhibited internationally and most recently selected for the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize shortlist. Geraldine’s paintings investigate themes such as the inner psyche, nature and memory, expressed as pure abstraction through her unique approach to the Nordic colour tradition.
