The following text is on the side of the picture:
I like this word with the Ä and the A in sequence and the image it evokes. It is soft, flowing and does not follow the obvious sensible. Even when we say Mä - anders we have to take the first turn.
We too often let ourselves be led astray from the straight path, explore the wrong way in loops and turns, reduce speed, become expansive, move and deposit slag, stones and rubble. At some… point we end up back on our path and arrive again.
Those who meander do not want to end up, to arrive, at least not in the foreseeable future. They take their time for the unknown, for undiscovered zones, and expand into new territory. Experiencing, discovering and living over a long period of time enables growth and prosperity. Just as the river gifts the landscape with its water and thereby creates new biotopes, perhaps we too can create new worlds by meandering.
