About this artwork
Please note: This painting is in my studio in Poland and can be reserved, please enquire.
The painting describes human tenderness between a man and a woman, primeval in its message with a woman possibly carrying a new life and a man receiving to take care of her, and the life she will give. The main and more prominent figure of man is shown as a strong yet gentle. Holding his own, very masculine on one hand, but confident and not scared to show… his emotions on the other. The painting is very contemporary in its message, with a modern man being tender yet not losing his masculinity at the same time. In this painting the artist reflected his own upbringing and evolvement in traditions. The above measurements are of unframed work, however the painting is framed and total dimensions, including frame are 169.5 x 78 x 1.5 cm.
« In my landscapes and gardens, I find the soul in them and a piece of myself. In my figurative works, I look for the garden and landscapes of their souls. »
