This work is born from the encounter between tradition and modernity, evoking the legend of the Simurg, the bird of Persian mythology, a symbol of rebirth, strength, and wisdom. The figure comes to life through a vortex of intense colors—blue, orange, red, and green—that move like flames and feathers through space, suspended against a refined golden background.
Created using a mixed media (oil and epoxy resin), the painting reveals a fascinating… interplay of depth: the image is painted on a layer of transparent resin that creates a three-dimensional effect and detaches the painted surface from the background, amplifying the luminosity of the pigments and the preciousness of the gold.
Simurg is a work that combines energy and harmony, simultaneously conveying movement and transcendence, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a symbolic and timeless dimension.
