About this artwork
Wheel of Destiny is an inter-active mixed media maquette comprising of a number found objects and modelling materials. In this assemblage sculpture, I integrated plastic, wood, and marble powder to build a dynamic, thought-provoking piece. It’s a symbol of cycles and chance, inviting viewers to explore tension and balance. speaking it is a play on the television game show Wheel of Fortune. Ironically, instead of winning material goods, the wheel determines your political future whether it be a fascist, socialist, communist or ultimately democratic. By activating the wheel via the toggle switch it puts the wheel in motion where it randomly stops on one of the portraits of world leaders. This is your political destiny. Make the World great again!
