About this artwork
For me, "SEAHORSE" is a silent immersion—in color, in emotion, in depth. Over many months, I repeatedly applied new layers using my layering technique: fine white speckles, soft gradients, bold navy. Each layer bears traces of my mood, my intuition, my inner movement.
The colors are reminiscent of water, the refraction of light, and the stillness beneath the surface. The work can depict an entire underwater world—full of mystery, space, and vitality.…
And then—quite unexpectedly—a small seahorse appeared. Not planned, not painted, but seemingly created by itself. A delicate figure amidst the change.
I invite the viewer to take their time. To continually discover something new. Perhaps a seahorse. Perhaps something completely different. Because this painting speaks not only to the eye—but also to the inner self.
