About this artwork
“Careless Whispers” erupts in a storm of splattered longing and fractured silence. Black and white drips slice through a muted field of gray, blush, and pale blue—like memories half-remembered, half-denied. The canvas trembles with motion, yet nothing resolves; each mark is a whisper interrupted, a confession swallowed. The layering evokes emotional sediment—grief, desire, restraint—built up over time and shaken loose in a moment of vulnerability.… There’s a tension between chaos and control, as if the painting itself is trying to speak but can only stammer. The Pollock-like energy is not reckless—it’s aching. Every drip feels deliberate, every splatter a pulse. “Careless Whispers” is not about noise, but the spaces between—the things we almost say, the truths we bury in gesture. It’s a visual soliloquy of endings and transformations, where abstraction becomes intimacy, and silence becomes the loudest voice in the room.
