About this artwork
In my "Happy Family" series, I used typical stock catalog images for advertising purposes as templates. Back then, in 2000, CR-ROMs were still available, which you could order from the providers. From this selection, I chose various motifs and then modified the image templates on the computer before painting the motif with acrylics on paper.
