About this artwork
In Armonie Scomposte, matter becomes rhythm and color becomes language. The three canvases dialogue with each other through a balance of rectangular shapes, superimposed and stratified, which dissolve and recompose in a visual game orchestrated with skill. The use of blue, in its many shades, guides the gaze in a harmonious but unpredictable path, where geometry gives way to the spontaneity of the gesture.
I use catalyst wedges to cut, push and… shape the acrylic paint, obtaining vibrant, dynamic, at times almost sonorous surfaces. Each panel is a variation on a theme, a distinct voice within a single composition that invites silent listening to its tensions and voids.
Martina Repetti, a pharmacist turned artist, uses acrylics on wet canvas and expresses her art through the "Bubbles" series. Refining his bubbles with paint markers, he also experiments with fluid paint and the use of catalyst wedges. His work is a fruitless interlocking of colored bubbles, making color the protagonist that attracts and calms the gaze, transporting it to a dimension of peace. When she paints, Martina feels free and at peace.
