A fragment of a landscape with moss-covered stones serves as a symbolic testimony to how traces of the past and childhood experiences gradually become overgrown with new layers of experience, while still retaining their solidity throughout a person’s life. The author of the work seeks to restore childhood memories, and the massive pile of stones—on which much time was spent during childhood—evokes various events from the past. It is like a meditation… through the past, returning to oneself.
The author's photograph of the artwork is printed in digital format on linen fabric. The digital print is felted and embroidered. On the back of the piece, which is sewn together with the front surface, attachment elements and the artwork’s certificate are sewn on.
