'Blue Flowers' ist Teil meiner Life is Colorful-Serie – eine Erinnerung daran, dass das Leben Höhen und Tiefen kennt und dass auf jedes Tief wieder ein neues Hoch folgt.
Ich habe dieses Gemälde mitten im Winter geschaffen, als die Welt draußen eisig und kalt war. Ich sehnte mich nach Wärme, nach den Blumen des Frühlings und nach dem Licht Griechenlands. Vielleicht sind deshalb diese abstrakten Blüten in kühlen Blau-, Türkis- und Goldtönen entstanden,… eingebettet in einen klaren weißen Hintergrund. Manche Betrachter erkennen in den Formen sogar eisblaue Augen – ein Sinnbild für Klarheit, Resilienz und stille Stärke.
Wenn Sie dieses Bild betrachten, wünsche ich mir, dass es Sie daran erinnert, auch durch kalte und stille Zeiten hin durchzuhalten. Selbst im Winter liegen Schönheit, Tiefe und das Versprechen hellerer, wärmerer Tage.
