About this artwork
I created this artwork in stages and layers. I used acrylic paint for the first layer, and then I poured blue paint that I moved around to create movement. The next layer is a multi-color oil finish. The fluidity of the paint takes your eye all over the canvas. The final layer was a minimal use of gold leaf. It reminds me of nature in all its glory. I hope you can feel the mood of celebration and joy.
