This sculpture portrays the serene face of a woman, crafted in pure white with soft, natural features. One eye is rendered realistically, while the other dissolves into an abstract form — a deliberate interruption that becomes the emotional core of the piece.
The contrast between the complete and the abstracted eye symbolises a woman who has been waiting for an impossibly long time — a waiting that stretches beyond moments, beyond years, into something… almost infinite. The unfinished eye becomes a metaphor for suspended time: the part of her vision that remains open to hope, yet blurred by the weight of endurance.
The smooth white surface gives the sculpture a quiet, timeless presence, allowing the viewer to feel both her strength and her vulnerability. She stands as a universal figure of patience, longing, and the silent resilience that grows in the space between expectation and reality.
