About this artwork
In creating this piece, I aimed to capture the dynamic interplay between structure and chaos, tradition and innovation. I used acrylics for their vividness and layers of golden leaf to add depth and a hint of luxury. The abstract and geometric forms wrestle and dance across the canvas, invoking thoughts of ancient symbols cast into a modern dialogue. This painting doesn't just hang; it resonates, bringing a vibrant, thought-provoking energy to any… space.
Mascha Chelius is an academic artist and teacher with heart and soul, who has found her expression in painting and interior design. She experiments with mixed media, seamlessly woven from elements of abstractionism, cubism, suprematism, and expressionism through color layering and hue mixing. Her energetic abstract works charge the space with philosophy and esotericism, combined with acrylic paints, textured pastes, and gold leaf. They evoke feelings of balance and heightened vibrations.
