About this artwork
In this work, I captured the ephemeral essence of spring, with dynamic brushstrokes and vibrant colors that evoke a fresh, invigorating breeze. Each stroke of paint is a budding of life, reflecting transformation and renewal. It is a hymn to nature, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in an abstract yet palpable world. It brings an invigorating and inspiring energy to any living space.
Matthieu Tellaro, born in 1976 and based in Roubaix, nourishes his work with the techniques of his Impressionist grandfather and eclectic inspirations ranging from Pollock to Bazaine. He mixes industrial paints, acrylics, and oil pigments, using brushes and knives, as well as sculpture pebbles and Chinese inks, to compose a singular visual language, a complex dialogue between the raw and the subtle, heritage and experimentation. His work, a vibrant exploration of the unconscious, makes visible the tracings of the soul through a sublimation through the juxtaposition of colors.
