About this artwork
I was staying in a house in Galway for the summer and this was the farm that I liked at every day over the back hedge. It reminded me so much of my childhood as I grew up on a farm beneath the mountains in the middle of nowhere. Soon making this painting lots of memories and feelings were released. Some parts of me that were difficult to acknowledge before became more acceptable. The more I paint the closer I come to me.
