About this artwork
In Culprit, I have tried to capture a moment suspended in anguish—a figure caught between the act and its consequence. The sculpture is both gesture and emotion made solid: the slight twist of the body, the subtle recoil of guilt or defiance, speaks to the complexity of human nature. Is this a wrongdoer unrepentant, or a soul burdened by conscience?
