This work represents an oak leaf from the forests of eastern France. How were the forests populated with this species of trees? By the squirrels who hid the oak acorns in the ground for their larder in winter, and as they no longer remembered the place of their storage, the acorns in the ground became adult oaks.
Max Parisot du Lyaumont, born in Corbenay in 1945, is a French pioneer in digital art, using his own photo library of 100,000 images and Photoshop to create his works.
His style, called "Digitalism", is imbued with a wealth of colors and varied shapes, playing with the transposition of photographic subjects to invite dreams and depict an unrealistic and idealistic vision of the world. His creations reflect not only his reflection on the human condition, but also his observation of the contemporary world.
