About this artwork
In my work 51LAV I used acrylic paints and varnish to create an explosive, abstract and expressive piece. The dynamic strokes and bold color scheme represent the deep emotions and thoughts I had during the creating process. This painting reflects an inner struggle and passion that I hope will be felt in every home and spark conversations.

Maximilian Davis is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Norway, and India. Through his diverse compositions, he explores themes relating to literature and fleeting moments, capturing poems and passages with a visual language that is fused with metaphors and "metaphysical depth". Davis most often creates with acrylics, oils, and lacquer on canvas.
