About this artwork
In this abstract work, "Blue and Red," I use texture paste and acrylic paints to create a vibrant, tactile surface. The impasto layers form a dynamic movement in which the contrasting colors, blue and red, flow into one another while simultaneously engaging in a dynamic interplay. Blue represents tranquility, depth, and introspection, while red embodies energy, passion, and inner tension—a dialogue between stillness and intensity. The fluid transitions…
allow for personal interpretation and invite the viewer to rediscover their own feelings and experiences within the composition. The work is an expression of an inner state in which opposites not only collide but also shape and enrich one another.

A large solo exhibition in the Vaterstetten town hall, which was officially opened by the mayor.
The opening speech was given by Prof. Dr. Angelika Niebler, MEP.
