About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the emotional intensity of fiery skies and distant horizons, inspired by the striking landscapes of Lanzarote. Memories of this volcanic island, where frozen lava sculpts the earth into raw and powerful forms, fuel a reflection on the ephemeral nature of our experiences and the memory of places.
The vibrant use of acrylics, pastels, and Indian ink, blended with rich pigments, creates a visual tension that dances… between abstraction and expressionism. It is a dialogue between chaos and tranquility, between the telluric force of volcanoes and the sweetness of memories. This work invites contemplation and introspection, while bringing energy and depth to any living space.
