About this artwork
Monosymbolistic Raven Allegories.
The raven has a symbolistic meaning in almost any culture-
from bringer of death to bringer of live.
The fascination for raven allowed me to paint different feelings, dreams, thoughts and events always through the same reference.
This composition consists of 15 individual artworks that can also be sold as a total work of art (see illustration).
This raven is three-dimensional and was cut out of plastic and painted.… Also the cola cans are real and were glued on.
Michael had contacted the Coca Cola company to get permission (copyright)... Don't be afraid , Michael didn't have to drink so many Coca Cola cans. He was sent by Coca cola 150 empty cans, which he then only had to cut and glue!
