About this artwork
"Water Gun Kurt" is a lively and provocative portrait of Kurt Cobain, created in bright acrylic paints on canvas. The painting draws on an iconic photo of Cobain, but instead of the classic pistol, he now holds a colorful water pistol in his hand - an unexpected and playful twist that gives the image an unexpected freshness. The musician's iconic blonde hair is in bright pink, which also lifts the image into a colorful, almost surreal dimension.…
A tribute to the Nirvana frontman, it honors Cobain's rebellious spirit and his influence on music history.
This work comes directly from my studio and has never been sold or exhibited in an art gallery, museum or auction before. It should be stretched on a stretcher frame (100x100x2cm). The canvas is approx. 108x110cm.
