About this artwork
In this work I explored the depth of night through geometric abstraction. Each acrylic circle is a miniature moon, representing the different phases and bursts of light seen in the celestial darkness. It is a dialogue between order and chaos, the infinitely large and the minutely detailed. This painting will introduce an energy of contemplation and mystery into any space, inviting introspection and wonder.
« I have discovered a new natural law, regarding the deconstruction of light, called the theory of the “quaternity of light”. »
My specialty is the transparency of colors in geometric abstraction.
The first step of my artistic creation is initially digital using a personal computer tool using a palette of 4 pure colors. Through my training in graphic and plastic arts, my research allows me to create digital works by playing with randomness, shape and transparencies of color.
I then produce prints on different media: Digigraphie® on art paper, Subligraphie® on aluminum and digital video animations.
My digital models serve as models for making acrylic paintings on canvas for galleries and collectors.
My colorful works adapt to large formats for urban architecture such as the one created in Giverny in 2018 for the Tourist Information Office and for the 13 m long underground passage.
Various exhibitions in France, Europe and the USA.
