About this artwork
This work, 80 cm high and 32 cm wide, consists of a pebble painted on both sides, representing an imaginary figure reminiscent of the "Figurative Destructuralism" series, and the recovery of a white porcelain lamp base on which faces and landscapes are painted, also inspired by the DF, on the back we find a silhouette that appears in several recent paintings. The set is placed on a harness with a height of 82 cms.
This work is made on a porcelain… and stone support.
Michel Marant, born in 1945 in Saint-Junien, is a French figurative painter, whose work is listed by Akoun. He is mainly inspired by nature and everyday life.
