About this artwork
"Seashells and Fishing Nets" is a gestural geometric abstract in white and warm golden brown, drawing on the rhythms and structures of seascape and shoreline. Abstracted references to marine forms such as shells, knotted nets, fish, and and tide. Paired with its sister painting, "Moonbeams and Marigolds," it forms a complementary duo—a diptych—that connects oceanic and the celestial thoughts through a shared visual language of structure, movement,… and unfolding thought.
Full size is 45H x 43W inches, leaving ample canvas (2.5 inches on each of 4 sides) to stretch to its 40H x 38W x 1.5D inch image as shown. Signed on back, it ships in a tube. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, placed onto stretcher bars) by a local framer.
« I'm curious about how nature inspires awe, how we feel it deep in our bones, how to express that relationship, and what we can learn from it. My energetic, investment-quality paintings bring balance and harmony from the natural world to your interior space. »
