For this artwork I used acrylic on canvas with fluorescent highlights along the walls and crosswalks.
The figures move through a dim environment, each wearing a mask and two different shoes, one dark and one coloured.
These subtle contrasts reveal fragments of individuality that emerge despite outer conformity.
Part of the Soft Rebellion series, this painting explores the tension between quiet resistance and societal expectation.
Light and shadow,… stillness and movement, intertwine to reflect the search for personal freedom within unseen boundaries.
It invites viewers to question what is shown and what remains hidden behind the mask.
