About this artwork
Obsidian Heart is a sculptural wall piece that explores the contrast between emotion and structure. The iconic heart shape is reinterpreted through sharp, faceted geometry, creating a strong visual tension between softness and strength.
The form is 3D printed and mounted on a painted canvas, then finished with acrylic spray to achieve a deep, matte black surface. The interaction of light with the geometric texture gives the piece a dynamic presence,… constantly shifting depending on the viewer’s perspective.
Each piece is individually produced, and due to the nature of the 3D printing and hand-finishing process, slight variations and minor imperfections may occur. These are not considered flaws, but part of the artistic identity of the work. Color tones may also vary slightly depending on lighting conditions.
