About this artwork
The art of building a personal internal signpost in the incomprehensible ocean of existence.
The debris left by the passage of man speaks to us. They are poetic tales. In some works these debris are rust grooves or piles of scrap, in others they are objects
Thus, small fragments of landscape are born within other fragments or fossils of human and mechanical origin, imaginary micro places in which lifeless debris becomes hypothetical nests (inhospitable… and uninhabitable) essential for survival and reconstruction.
“Fossils of a devitalized future” that now become “Nests” and express the need to protect oneself, to hide, to rebuild oneself, to scream and to react, they are a symbol of tragedy, of deep wounds but also of hope and resilience.
The works are circular with a diameter of 30 cm and 31 cm.
