About this artwork
These paintings reflect the depth of human emotion, each representing a different "land" of the soul. The earthy colors and deep textures evoke a sense of nostalgia and mystery, perfect for adding a touch of enigma and warmth to any home.
The wild Mediterranean nature, the shadow of a bird in the foreground, the ears of corn and a thistle plant with a characteristic flower full of winged seeds and spiny leaves. These are fragments of a childhood… lived in contact with the earth, with its harsh and wild nature, with its smell, color and warmth.
In the work there is a panic immersion in this living and vibrant element. In the alchemy that brings the earth back to humanity and humanity to the earth creating an indissoluble bond.
Generally for the works of this series the artist uses pigment and pastel also to accentuate the childish suggestion.
