About this artwork
In this work, I explore the emergence of light and memory through water. Forms emerge and dissolve amidst glazes, reflections, and layers of color, creating a space where reality ceases to be a precise image and becomes an inner experience.
I don't seek to depict a specific seascape, but rather to evoke a sense of presence, movement, and transformation. The glimmers that traverse the surface suggest a silent energy rising from the depths, inviting… contemplation and a more intuitive connection with nature.
As in much of my work, the painting is built up through multiple overlapping layers, allowing the light to gradually appear until it reveals an atmosphere open to each viewer's personal interpretation.
