About this artwork
MES VO.IA.GES explores the shifting territory between human perspective and digital generation.
The series questions the very act of visual creation in the age of AI:
where artistic intention is born,
where algorithmic interpretation begins,
and how the two interact to bring forth a sensitive image.
At the heart of this series appears a recurring figure: Granny in LA, surrounded by her pink poodles.
A presence that is tender, quirky and free,… inspired by my maternal grandparents — their gestures, their discreet elegance, their sometimes unexpected whimsy.
The “touch of madness” of pink poodles becomes a poetic thread: a touch of irreverence that reminds us that the imagination always has its place in memory.
The decor is inspired by Californian modernist architecture: clean lines, transparencies, dialogue between interior and landscape.
Bright, open, almost utopian spaces that serve as a setting for these scenes somewhere between dream, memory and projection.
