“The Flute of Silence” (Acrylic on canvas 100x100cm) Miroslav Spadrna 2026 from Spain
In this work, the figure does not interpret the music: it invokes it. Suspended in a space where matter seems to respond to the invisible, the painting articulates a subtle dialogue between gesture and energy. The red presence—organic, almost totemic—stands as an axis of tension, while the environment, constructed through dense and vibrant layers, oscillates between… the atmospheric and the tactile.
The flute, more suggested than defined, acts as a conduit between the human and the intangible. There is no sound, but there is resonance. The composition is sustained at that precise distance where contact has not yet occurred, generating a state of contained anticipation.
Far from being narrative, the work is situated in a symbolic territory where painting does not represent: it activates.
