About this artwork
The artwork depicts an abstract interpretation of an outdoor scene with a dense area of foliage or greenery occupying the lower portion. The foliage is created using textured layers of green and yellow paint, giving a sense of depth and vibrancy. Above this green area is a soft, muted lavender background that could suggest a sky or open space. Black and yellow splatters and thin, erratic lines are dispersed across the canvas, creating a dynamic overlay… that adds movement and contrast to the composition. The overall effect is energetic and expressive, blending natural elements with abstract expressionism.
I was raised in a small Idaho town where my grandmother’s home was a haven—an inspiring space full of projects and endless ideas creating memories filled with color, creativity and imagination. Art has always been a part of my life and is a lifelong passion.
I continually refine my skills embracing learning opportunities wherever I can. Exploring different styles and techniques. Bob Ross, a childhood favorite, taught me approachability, the joy of art and happy little mistakes. While the bold emotional intensity found in Dale Bushart’s work inspires me to pursue resonance in my own creations.
Currently, I am a member of the Treasure Valley Artist Alliance, and my pieces are featured in multiple online gallery exhibitions curated by independent organizers.
