Two princes, two thrones.
The first, Charles, born into wealth, destined for the crown.
The second, Charlie Watts, born in the dust of East London, was crowned on stage behind his drum kit with the Rolling Stones.
They have nothing in common — except perhaps a passion for Arsenal, the club that unites crowds like a parallel monarchy.
With 2 Princes, I wanted an impossible encounter. A tableau where the flag flies for both, and where elegance… can come from a royal suit… or from an oversized shirt in a smoky club.
Because deep down, England loves its symbols, whether they come from Buckingham or Brixton. And sometimes, the uniform of kings is a red and white jersey.

Mister Marcus is a French visual artist from the Paris region. His eye was trained on Jamie Reid's punk posters, Jano and Margerin's rock comics, and imported vinyl covers. He composes his paintings as one constructs a piece: with tension, rhythm, and visual ruptures. His square—a recurring motif—acts like a riff, a memory cell, or a pixel of chaos. Everything is handmade. What looks like collage is acrylic. What seems accidental is thought out. His works tell fragmented visual stories, somewhere between personal memory and collective icons.
